LoriMarie is a professor, author, and DEI expert with 15+ years' background experience in higher education leadership. She is deeply passionate about mentoring Hispanic college students. Throughout her career, she has traveled to Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Ireland and has written books, provided training on how to embrace cultural diversity in the workplace supported STEM initiatives.
As Lori, a bilingual professional and proud military mom born in New York, raised in Puerto Rico, and who has lived in Florida for 20 years, says, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." This philosophy fuels her commitment to SHPE, where she aims to give back to the community and help students and professionals achieve their full potential.
